The following questions and answers highlight the benefits and opportunities available to those who choose to join The Club at Strawberry Creek. As these questions are only summary in nature, please read the Membership Offering and the Rules and Regulations prior to enrolling in The Club at Strawberry Creek.

1. What is the Club at Strawberry Creek?: The Club at Strawberry Creek is a private club located in the Strawberry Creek Community in Kenosha, Wisconsin (1 hour from Chicago and 45 minutes from Milwaukee). The Club is an exceptional Golf Club, Tennis Club, Fitness Club, Swimming Club, Spa, Activities Club, and Social Club with recreation and events for every family member. The mission of the Principals is to create a home-away-from-home with outstanding programming and personalized service.
2. Who owns the Club?: This project is owned and operated by The Club at Strawberry Creek of Kenosha, LLC. Beginning in 1997, Principals Barry Shiffman, Ed Edelberg and former Chicago Bears football star Jay Hilgenberg shared a vision of a great golf course. This course offers inspiration for the sport, embrace outstanding facilities for the entire family, and provide a well-planned, friendly community and lifestyle. With the value it offers in location, amenities and camaraderie, The Club at Strawberry Creek is “the address” of prestigious living in Kenosha.
3. What about the golf course?: The focal point of the Strawberry Creek community is the 18-hole championship golf course by renowned designer Rick Jacobson. Protégé and former senior architect for Jack Nicklaus, Jacobson has designed this signature course to challenge the lower-handicapper, while creating an enjoyable golfing experience for all levels of players and their families.; The golf course at Strawberry Creek joins a host of other recognized Rick Jacobson courses, many which rank among Chicago's top layouts, and others among the Middle Atlantic Region's "Must-Play" courses"and The Club at Strawberry Creek is sure to follow suit.; Golf practice and teaching facilities complements the course. Adjacent to the Clubhouse, Member's will find the driving range, practice chipping and putting greens as well as designated instruction space. Whether you are just beginning the game of golf, expanding and refining your golfing skills, the practice and teaching facilities will be an important part of your Club experience.
4. What are the facilities?: The golf course at The Club at Strawberry Creek is just the start of enthusiastic recreation and relaxation. The Clubhouse encompasses a Fitness Center and Exercise Studio, Spa, Tennis Courts, Resort-style swimming pools, Activities Room, and Social Events " where all family members find avenues to pursue virtually any interest, meet new friends, and build camaraderie.; The Fitness Center and Exercise Studio offers a comfortable atmosphere where Members can support their healthy lifestyles through all types of fitness and training. Cardio, free weights, circuit-training and elliptical equipment offer the latest in excercise.; The Swim Club features a resort style pool with a specialty water play area for tots and ample sun deck complete with outdoor dining.; The Activities Room offers a safe, socially inviting environment for all. Special programming, including movie nights, video games, parties and other events will make the room a popular draw for young and older adults.; The Tennis Courts are designed to accommodate league play, with private and group lessons, and programming that serve both serious and casual tennis enthusiasts.; Finally, the Social Club will welcome interaction by members of The Club at Strawberry Creek. Generous banquet and catering facilities, plus comfortable seating and conversation areas offer opportunities for casual get-togethers, parties and other grand affairs.
5. What about dining and other services?: The Clubhouse is the heart of the social scene featuring elegant dining areas, casual grille, lounge areas and private dining rooms. A traditional golf shop and impeccably appointed locker rooms await your arrival. The Clubhouse will host a multitude of functions, often happening all at the same time, establishing a place that fosters a sense belonging.
6. How will I know what is going on at the Club?: Communications is one of the driving philosophies of The Club at Strawberry Creek. Extensive programming and a “Member's Only” site on the web help you keep in touch with ongoing Club activities. You'll be informed of course conditions, available tee times, and the Club's luncheon special. Just add The Club to your list of “Favorites,” click, and find immediate connection.
7. What types of Memberships will be offered?: Several categories of Membership appeal to you and your family's needs. Whatever membership status you choose, every one is designed for family, including spouse and dependent children, under the age of 25 and living at home or enrolled in an accredited school or the military. All Memberships also include Extended Family privileges, which allow discounted fees for your children who are no longer considered dependent, their spouses, grandchildren and of course, your parents. We are striving to make The Club at Strawberry Creek a multigenerational Club.; The Full Golf Membership is designed for families who want full golf and club privileges. They may play unlimited rounds of golf with no greens fees. They also may use other Club facilities without additional fees. This membership also provides the most advanced tee time and court time reservation privileges.; The Limited Golf Membership is for families who enjoy all Club facilities along with weekday golf, Tuesday through Friday at noon for no additional greens fees. All additional club facilities are accessible at all times, without additional fees. This membership also provides the second most advanced golf tee time privileges and the most advanced tennis court reservation privileges (shared with Full Golf Members).; The Sports Membership is the perfect choice for non-golfing families. Sports Members will have access to the Fine & Casual Dining, Fitness Club, Tennis Club, Swim Club, Teen Club, and Social Club. Outstanding programming will be offered for all of these Clubs, for every family Member. Sports Members will have access to one foursome or two individual golf rounds per year. Sports Memberships are available only to homeowners at the Strawberry Creek Community. The final category of membership is Dining Memberships, and it is designed for families and business professionals who are looking to feast on fine and casual cuisine in a relaxed, yet sophisticated environment with an exclusive level of service. These annual memberships are available to anyone not living in the Strawberry Creek Community and have access to all dining areas within the Club. Dining members will also enjoy up to one foursome of golf each membership year on the private and meticulously maintained golf course.
8. Will a Corporate Membership be available?: Yes, Corporate Full Golf Memberships will be available, including Corporate Designees and their families. For each Primary Corporate Member, the company may assign up to 3 Corporate Designees. Designees of a Corporate Membership pay full dues since they receive full Club privileges and are included in the 350-member cap. Since Corporate Designees pay a reduced and refundable Membership Deposit, they are subject to recall upon realizing the Full Golf Member cap.
9. Tell me again: What is the cap on membership?: The Club will limit Full Golf Memberships to 350 and Limited Golf Memberships to 100. The number of Sports Memberships will be determined by the number of housing units within the Club at Strawberry Creek community.
10. What does it mean when you say a Membership Deposit is Refundable?: We are sensitive to the changing lifestyles of today's Members. If you need to resign from the Club, for any reason, you will receive 50% up to 100% of your initial deposit depending upon the offering in effect at the time of your declaration of membership. Prior to having reached a full compliment of Members in your Membership category, refunds are made on a one-to-four basis. For every four new Members who enroll, the Membership Deposit for one of the Memberships is returned to a Member on the resignation list. Upon a full compliment of Members, refunds are assigned on a one-to-one basis. (For every new Member who enrolls, the Membership Deposit is returned to a Member on the resignation list.)
11. Will there be financing available for the Membership Deposit?: Yes, a financing plan is available. Ask for details when you join The Club at Strawberry Creek.
12. Is there a special value program for those who own property in the Strawberry Creek Community?: Yes, property owners receive transferability privileges if they declare a membership within 60 days after executing the contract for property in the Strawberry Creek Community. This means that you may transfer your Membership Reservation to the subsequent purchaser of your property in accordance with the Membership Offering. Upon the transfer and the payment of the then-going Membership Deposit by the Subsequent Purchaser, you will receive your Membership Deposit Refund within 30 days of the transaction.; According to the Urban Land Institute, such membership privileges can increase the value of your property from 3% to 8%.; NOTE: Your subsequent purchaser will not be guaranteed Club membership and will not be eligible for the transferability privilege if the primary buyer does not exercise a Membership within 60 days of property purchase.
13. Can I be assessed for Capital Improvements or Operational Shortfalls?: No, whether you are an individual or corporate Member of The Club at Strawberry Creek, you cannot be assessed.
